Disney has released the first trailer for its live-action adaptation of *Lilo & Stitch*, set to premiere exclusively in theaters on May 23, 2025.

The reimagining of the 2002 animated classic tells the heartwarming story of a lonely Hawaiian girl and a fugitive alien who helps heal her fractured family. Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the film features a screenplay by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright and Mike Van Waes. The cast includes Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, and Chris Sanders, with Courtney B. Vance and Zach Galifianakis. Newcomer Maia Kealoha stars in the role of Lilo.

Produced by Jonathan Eirich and Dan Lin, with executive producers Tom Peitzman, Ryan Halprin, Louie Provost, and Thomas Schumacher, *Lilo & Stitch* aims to capture the humor and emotional depth of the original while introducing the story to a new generation.
