DuPont Unveils Future Board for Independent Electronics Company Ahead of Planned Spin-Off
DuPont announced the future board of directors for its upcoming independent Electronics company, which is expected to be spun off from DuPont by November 1, 2025. The new board will comprise nine members, bringing together a range of experience in global business, technology, and innovation.
Michael Stubblefield, President and CEO of Avantor, will serve as Chairman, while Jon Kemp, current President of DuPont’s Electronics division and CEO-elect of the new company, will also serve as a board member.
Three current DuPont directors — Terrence R. Curtin, Steven M. Sterin, and Dr. Kristina M. Johnson — will transition to the Electronics Board. Additional independent members include Byron Green, formerly of L3Harris Technologies, and Dr. Shumeet Banerji, founder of Condorcet, LP and former CEO of Booz & Company. The remaining board members will be named following a search process.
DuPont emphasized that this team of directors will guide the Electronics company through its transition and help position it for growth in advanced computing and connectivity markets. The spin-off is subject to standard regulatory and financial approvals but does not require a shareholder vote.
