AMD Achieves Milestone with TSMC 2nm Process

AMD announced that its next-gen EPYC processor, codenamed "Venice," is the first high-performance computing product to be successfully brought up on TSMC's 2nm (N2) process. The chip is expected to launch in 2026. AMD also validated its 5th Gen EPYC CPUs at TSMC’s new Arizona fab, reinforcing its commitment to U.S. manufacturing. The milestone reflects AMD’s continued collaboration with TSMC to co-optimize cutting-edge design and process technologies.
