T-Mobile has announced major advancements in its T-Priority 5G solution to enhance connectivity for first responders. The initiative includes a partnership with the City of New York, making T-Mobile the exclusive carrier for the city's public safety network. Additional collaborations with Samsung, Getac, and Skydio will provide first responders with ruggedized devices, AI-powered drones, and critical field technology.
T-Priority offers expanded 5G capacity, faster speeds, and improved coverage, including T-Mobile Starlink integration to provide connectivity in remote areas. First responders on T-Mobile’s Go5G First Responder plans will receive free access to the T-Priority network slice, ensuring prioritized service.
To support the first responder community, T-Mobile is donating $2 million to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, funding scholarships for children of fallen heroes. The company is also launching a new Essentials First Responder plan with competitive pricing.
