T-Mobile has introduced two new Essentials plans designed specifically for first responders and military personnel, offering what it claims to be the best price compared to AT&T and Verizon. The Essentials First Responder and Essentials Military plans provide unlimited talk, text, and data, along with international texting and access to T-Mobile’s Magenta Status perks. The plans cost $90 per month for a family of three with AutoPay, delivering nearly 20% savings per month compared to AT&T’s FirstNet Unlimited.

First responders can also add network priority access for $7.50 per month, ensuring connectivity during high network congestion periods. Additionally, T-Mobile is offering a free 5G phone with 24 monthly bill credits for customers who switch.

These new Essentials plans complement T-Mobile’s existing Go5G First Responder and Go5G Military plans, which offer additional perks such as Netflix on Us and free in-flight Wi-Fi. T-Mobile continues its commitment to these groups through initiatives like its Connecting Heroes program, aiming to save first responder agencies up to $7.7 billion by 2030.

To make switching easier, T-Mobile is offering to pay off phones up to $800 for those bringing their own devices and will provide a $125 prepaid Mastercard per voice line for customers who switch back to their previous carrier within 30 days if they are unsatisfied.

The new plans are available immediately.
