Apple has introduced a new iPad Air featuring the M3 chip, delivering significantly faster performance and improved graphics capabilities. The device is available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, with enhanced support for Apple Intelligence, advanced cameras, and fast 5G connectivity. Apple has also updated the standard iPad with the A16 chip, doubling the starting storage and improving performance by nearly 30% over the previous generation.

iPadOS 18 introduces new features, including an advanced calculator app with Math Notes, improved handwriting recognition in Notes, and integrated ChatGPT access in Writing Tools and Siri. Privacy remains a key focus, with on-device processing and Private Cloud Compute ensuring data security.

The new iPad Air starts at $599 for the 11-inch model and $799 for the 13-inch version, with pre-orders available immediately and shipping beginning March 12. Education pricing is also available, with discounts for students and educators.
