Apple introduced the new MacBook Air featuring the M4 chip, offering improved performance, up to 18 hours of battery life, a new 12MP Center Stage camera, and support for two external displays. The updated model comes in a new sky blue color alongside midnight, starlight, and silver. The starting price has been reduced to $999, or $899 for education customers.

The M4 chip enhances multitasking, video editing, and AI-driven tasks, making it up to twice as fast as the M1 model and significantly outperforming Intel-based versions. Built for Apple Intelligence, the MacBook Air supports advanced AI features, including enhanced Siri, image generation, and seamless ChatGPT integration for writing and productivity tasks.

The device features a thin and lightweight fanless design, a Liquid Retina display, Touch ID, MagSafe charging, and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. It also supports Apple’s environmental initiatives with a high percentage of recycled materials. Pre-orders are open now, with availability starting March 12.
