T-Mobile announced that it has reached $16 million in funding for its Hometown Grants program, supporting local development projects in small towns and rural communities. With its latest round of 25 grant recipients, the program has now funded 375 community projects across 48 states and Puerto Rico since launching in April 2021.
Each recipient receives up to $50,000 to support initiatives ranging from park renovations and community center improvements to historical site preservation and technology upgrades. The grants have generated over 150,000 volunteer hours, strengthening local communities.
T-Mobile partners with Main Street America to administer the program, ensuring that projects are impactful and feasible. The company also continues broader efforts to support rural areas, including Project 10Million, 5G Home Internet, and a partnership with Starlink to eliminate mobile dead zones.
